Did not meant to digress you from main topic - Mughal garden in Rashtrapati Bhawan. However, I found all the others equally incredibly Fantastic! and I just had to share them with you. Do visit them, if you get a chance :)

Coming back to Delhi's Mughal Garden. The entrance to the garden is through Gate No. 35, near Church Road, from their its just another 300 metres. (Click to Tweet)

entrance gate 35

You can visit the gardens from 9:30 am am till 4:00 pm, no one is allowed to enter after that. By 5 pm visitor must exit from Gate No.35 (Click to Tweet)

Camera, Bags, Purse are not allowed inside the garden, so it's better not to carry them.  (Click to Tweet)

Or, you can leave them at the entrance. I would not recommend this as this will un-necessarily eat up your time in queuing in line to deposit and collect your belongings.

Entry into the garden is Free. (Click to Tweet)

Once you are inside you will find Officers who will ask you to keep walking in a queue, as seen in the picture at the intro of this post.
No one is allowed to wait or stand more than a few minutes, so basically the line keeps moving.

Well, it can be tiring for some. So where would you rest, if you kept walking and not allowed to stop anywhere? There are siting space before and after the garden where you can rest and relax your sole and soul (the complex is so delightful!)

The Garden is a visual treat. (It's better seen than read.) There are multiple gardens with different floral-themes. Fountains and canals and soothing murmur of water to delight you.
main circular garden

You first enter into the Herbal Garden, I would not divulge into the details as I mentioned it's better seen than read ! Then you move on to Bonsai area - Exceptional Bonsai! ( Any Bonsai Lovers here?), next comes the main Mughal Garden, Rose Garden and lastly the Circular garden.

Their absolute beauty and grandeur would surely leave you speechless! This is a MUST visit place if you happen to be a tourist coming in Feb-Mar.
